Raising awareness of climate change through video.
COP26 is the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties which was hosted in the UK.
The summit brought over 140 world leaders and 40,000 participants together to accelerate climate change goals from the Paris Agreement and UN Framework Convention.
The Cabinet Office wanted to showcase local businesses making green choices for their COP26 campaign.
They wanted this to be delivered in an authentic and engaging way with viewers through the use of video.
The result of the video was to encourage businesses to considers how small changes can improve their carbon footprint.
We created a series of case study videos for eco-friendly businesses across the North of England.
We captured authentic interviews with each business, finding out how they are taking steps to become greener.
The videos balanced strong imagery, statistics, and a consistent sustainable message throughout.
As a result of TV and Facebook advertising, the first day of sales resulted in a queue of over 300 customers.
The videos helped to build anticipation and pre-engagement around the sales. Generating 183,000 views on TV and 120,000 views on social media, the store ended up 6% over target.
