Promoting an anniversary sale for a high-street retail brand using TV and social media.
Atkinsons approached us looking to promote their 150th-anniversary sale. They wanted to create a video that showcased their offering and what products you can buy in-store.
The goal was to drive footfall on the day of the sales consisting of both old and new customers.
To help promote their anniversary sales we developed a series of short, engaging videos throughout the event.
The videos showcased a snapshot of Atkinsons’ history and product offerings. These were then distributed to their target audience across TV and social media.
As a result of TV and Facebook advertising, the first day of sales resulted in a queue of over 300 customers.
The videos helped to build anticipation and pre-engagement around the sales. Generating 183,000 views on TV and 120,000 views on social media, the store ended up 6% over target.
